The first interaction was by email only. I had to investigate with my neighbors and go to the police to make sure the email with a reminder bill to pay was not a scam. Moved to a new residence and the trustee didn't bother for a second to come meet us and introduce himself as it is polite to do and, provide us with the things we need to pay, why we need to pay, the rules and regulations and all that good management has to do (considering they get paid for it). After a few emails sent, their response is arrogant and insubstantial, like they're doing me a favor. 3 stars for now because the way I am treated is unacceptable. I am still waiting to receive their visit so that we know each other. I have to admit that I was asked to make an appointment but I didn't and it's up to me. However, I have worked with other Trustees before and every time a new person came along they were there to answer questions, chat with us and make sure everything was in order. Our estate is still under construction and there are so many things wrong that could be fixed if we (owners and trustee) communicated with each other. My neighbors said that the communication was requested from our side but was refused. I'm still waiting to see how things develop and then to see what we can do. Collaboration is very important. If the trustee expects money from us and doesn't provide anything else in return... then there's a problem. I can't recommend this company but I can't not recommend it. To date, there are not many elements not to recommend him as trustee.
Later edit: 1 STAR reduced - After further discussions by email (they kindly refused to come to the residence which I find weird) I can say that I was dealing with a rude agency that is only interested in the money and not to the customer relationship. Not rude in writing but in the relationship with its customers. The emails are very nice and well written and what is missing is the interaction and sharing of information, information that we are entitled to receive. No skills in customer relations, no intention of coming to discuss with the owners although they are the trustee. Really disappointed. We'll see what the future holds.
One star too many! Sloppy trustee work. Counts not very explanatory. No follow-up on requests. Additions of annotations moved to official documents. A co-owner told me about arrogance in the phone calls. Absolutely no trust in management. In the event of a dispute for small sums, you have no recourse against a trustee. You will spend more to assert your rights than you will recover and the trustee knows it!! Lawyer fees are paid by the co-owners...
My confidence in this trustee being lost, I will sell my property in order to avoid future problems! A word of advice: avoid condominiums and trustees. Or pay no questions asked...
