The idea I had of the work of a real estate agent being, among other things, supporting the buyer from the visit to the signing of the deeds and not until the compromise and then the loan... basically it's good I I have my commission, now get on with it!
Let me explain,
First visit, someone very friendly and smiling, then comes the moment of compromise, which is always just as pleasant. Then, a final call to ensure acceptance of the loan and it is from this moment that the face changes.
We had requested a 2nd visit which we never had, we had also asked if it was possible to have access to the garden to take care of it, never heard anything about this request either.
Clearly we had to do his work, several calls to make sure the house was empty, he never knew anything, I had to ask the notary the question myself...
For the meter readings, the same story, I no longer have the keys, check it out with your notary! Ok, my notary, of course, tells me that it’s up to the real estate agent to do it so I spend my time acting as an intermediary…
We carried out the deeds on Monday and it was on Sunday at 8:30 p.m. that, without hearing from the real estate agent, I decided to contact him again to find out what was going on with the meter readings.
He replies with an annoyed look that he will do them the next day before the deeds are executed and then that he will give the keys to the notary in Huy. I in turn tell him that I don't understand because I am passing the documents in Seraing and must have the keys following the passing of the documents...
In short, following his annoyed, nonchalant responses, I made him understand that it is not up to me to do his job and we stop there.
We had to go and collect the keys ourselves from Huy the next day following the passing of the deeds…
This is why I do not wish you to come across this character who appears friendly but is subsequently detestable.

Not the best agency. I've been by a few times but never anything conclusive. In addition, there is no connection at all with anyone from the agency. But obviously given the number of sales. This must be a decent agency. For me personally it doesn't work 😔😔😔
