      • + I had the pleasure of dealing with Ron Kruger on the recent sale of a property in Kenmare. From my very first interaction with Ron, I found him to be extremely professional and efficient. When he checked the folio number, he identified an error in the site map which we were able to rectify at an early stage. This would no doubt have caused us major problems when we went sale agreed if he hadn't been so thorough. As the property was a holiday home and was rented most of the time, Ron was very accommodating in arranging viewings on a day and time that suited and nothing was too much trouble. I would have no hesitations in recommending Ron to anyone looking for a professional and efficient estate agent.

      • + I recently sold a property through Engel & Voelkers Auctioneers and found them to be thoroughly excellent in what they do. Ron and Gobnait have their 'finger on the pulse' of the property market both in Kinsale and far beyond. Because of the wealth of experience that they have accumulated both in buying and selling property, they are in a great position to advise on either an appropriate promotion strategy when selling a house or a search strategy when buying. As well as providing sound aucioneering advice, Ron and Gobnait are not afraid to get stuck into the day to day tasks of the acutal job of 'buying' or 'selling'. Sometimes this requires work that you would never think should fall under their remit, but they get it done if it will help the purchase or sale :) Highly professional, thorough, pragmatic, extremely easy to deal with and value for money are what comes to mind when I think of Engel & Voelkers Auctioneers in Kinsale. I would highly recommend them for any auctioneering work that you may have and you will find that they will be a pleasure to deal with and will 'get your job done' :)

      • - We sold an exceptionally good house in a prime location on the Dingle Peninsula through Engel & Voelkers in conjunction with a local agent (Property Partners Daly Ó Sé, Tralee). However, it was in spite of rather than because of these Auctioneers. I have to assume that these auctioneers cultivate side agreements with potential buyers, even if they are to the detriment of their client. You hear this more often from Kerry agents, but I would not have expected it from Engel & Voelkers (with whom I have already sold another high-quality property in Germany). But make up your own mind; here's what happened: In the first round, they favoured only one bidder (for incomprehensible reasons) and did not respond to my emails for months, in which I asked them to continue talking to the second bidder (who was equal in terms of conditions). When the first bidder dropped out shortly before the closing date, the second bidder had already bought another house and we had lost a whole year. When I subsequently met the second unsuccessful bidder in the neighbourhood, she in turn complained about the unfriendly and poor communication of the agents and that they simply ignored her, despite her continued articulated interest. Something similar almost happened again in the second round. Again, the agents favoured one of the bidders and literally tried to drive me into his arms. If I hadn't happened to come into contact with a second bidder myself and had been able to talk to him personally, the sale might have failed a second time. And all this despite the fact that the demand for the property was enormous. This second bidder (my current buyer) also complained to me about the rather unfriendly and dismissive communication of the agents towards him. In light of what happened, I have to assume that these auctioneers cultivate side deals with potential buyers, even if they are to the detriment of their client. Personally, I would have and did get on well with Ron Krueger, but the whole process was ultimately nerve-wracking and unpleasant for me due to the non-transparent and unprofessional communication. And this despite the fact that the property itself was beyond reproach.

      • + We sold our house through Ron Kruger of Engel and Voelkers and were very impressed at every stage of the process. They were professional and knowledgeable about the potential purchaser and the valuation. We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this office.

      • + We have recently sold a house on the Old Head of Kinsale using Ron Krueger from Engel and Völkers. Thoughout the process which has been at times complicated Ron has maintained an extraordinary level of professionalism and enthusiasm. Selling a house during various stages of lockdown due to Covid-19 has been difficult but Ron has maintained focus, excellent communications and has ensured that we realised the best possible price. He has conducted FaceTime and real time viewings, advised on the best levels of photography and virtual tour construction which have all combined to produce a very successful sales process. We would highly recommend Ron and his team to anyone.
