      • - Just a brief sketch of the situation: After I tried to sell my home myself and this did not go smoothly, I decided to work with Altro-vastgoed. I had already received an offer from a prospective buyer, but he had dropped out. The broker immediately convinced me to do business with them. Everything was explained very clearly, the photos were taken quickly and the start-up went smoothly. However, I had already applied for all the necessary certificates myself. The minimum commission was 5,500, but according to the broker it was negotiable since I had already done a lot of work myself. One home visit took place shortly afterwards. The original candidate buyer decided to make another offer, but now via Altro-vastgoed. After some negotiation, we accepted the offer. There were also no more home visits. We thought 5,500 euros was a lot since there has not been much work for Altro real estate. We then received the bill from the notary, where we had to pay 6,655 euros to the real estate office. I was shocked by this and spoke to the real estate agent about it. Unfortunately, according to them, nothing could be done about it. The contract had already been signed. Easy for them... We have the feeling that they wanted to win us over by making a concession on their commission. As a young couple, we could use every bit of money and we appreciated the honesty of the real estate agent. My first very good feeling about the Altro team unfortunately ended with a bitter feeling.
