      • - This company is currently working on a site next to us. For the effective construction work, they damaged/partly demolished our fence in August 2022 when removing the shrubs on their plot. Contacted the person responsible several times in the period from September to January, when they answered their phone there were many promises (which of course they did not keep, otherwise this would have been resolved a long time ago). Now 10 months later, the case has not yet been resolved. The manager and project manager do not respond to registered letters or emails. In April 2023, after much insistence, someone from their insurance company came with the project leader to measure the damage. As requested, an email with information and a quote for repairs was sent to the insurance agent... again no response. I contacted the insurance agent this week (in the meantime the quote for repairs has already expired), received a short email from the project leader that they had approved. Isn't it that we cannot have the fence repaired because they have decided to build more than half a meter lower than our plot, which means that retaining walls are needed so that we cannot have subsidence and can install a (sturdy) fence? This had also already been discussed during the visit of the insurance agent and the project leader more than 2 months ago. I have sent one last email, asking for a specific answer about this matter this week so that we can finalize this, but I fear that. The file is ready for further steps to be taken. In short, my experience with this company in terms of communication and follow-up is very poor, and I get a very bad feeling about people who string me along like this... I hope for their sake that they treat their clientele better!
