      • - Not a good feeling when viewing an apartment that was described on the advertisement as 'more than ready to move in'. The agent was certainly punctual, but also in a huge hurry. Not unfriendly, but not exactly friendly either. She did not have all the necessary keys with her (ok, it can happen) and was not transparent when it came to the renovation work that had just been carried out. These were not neatly done everywhere (laminate with 'bubbles' referring to a moisture problem, a damaged window). The real estate agent did not spontaneously tell me about these problems, I had to discover it myself. Because the answer was 'they still have to fix this and that', I expected the communication to be different. Triggered by the lack of transparency, I did a little online research and it appears that this building (dating from 1970) was not structurally addressed during the renovation works and, in fact, was declared otherwise unrenovable. Important information that was not passed on.
