Worthless service: no answers to emails, never answer the phone and communicate dishonestly. Definitely not recommended, there are plenty of other decent brokers.

I was really wronged and discriminated against regarding the purchase of a house. On Wednesday September 6, I visited a property through this agency. The ad showed a sale price, so I made an offer at the price at the end of this visit on the advice of the real estate agent.
I waited until the following Saturday, the day I discovered that on the Immoweb ad, the property had been put under option without having any news of my offer.
I tried to contact the agency and the real estate agent without success. On Monday morning, a person from the agency (François?) contacted me telling me that my offer was refused because someone offered “much more”. I told him of my dissatisfaction at having been ignored until I saw the property under option without being informed. He tells me that they do what they want. So I decide to leave a review about my mishap on trustpilot.
I remain upset by the treatment I received all day.
At the end of the day, the agent who showed me around, Stien, contacted me again to tell me that the offer I made at the price was not sufficient, that another person had made an offer at €320,000 with €270,000 in suspensive clause and that there had been a misunderstanding on the part of his colleague who told me that the sale was closed. She asked me to remove my trustpilot review and make a higher offer. So I made an offer of €325,000. The next morning, after insistence from Stien, I withdraw the notice. Following this, the manager of the agency, Katrien, called me to tell me that the other candidate buyer had increased his bid to €330,000. She therefore told me that it is up to me to see if I put more to be sure of acquiring the house and that they would no longer communicate the amount of my offers to the other candidate buyer.
I went, quite disappointed that I was being manipulated into crazy auctions, to see my broker and I made an offer of €335,000 today. Around 6:30 p.m. she calls me to tell me that my offer was rejected.
If I understand correctly, they manipulated me so that I would withdraw a review and to raise the stakes with the other customer but they knew that I would not stop there. I will clarify all this with the IPI and a lawyer.
I wish you good luck in your shenanigans and your violations of all ethics. Disgusted with these people...

Century21 also came along when we were considering whether to hire a real estate agent or choose an alternative. In the end we did not work with a real estate agent, but with HelloHome, and I can recommend that to everyone. With a sale well above what Century21 had estimated as a value, and without the 2.5 to 3% cost that an estate agent dares to charge.

Very bad contact with real estate agent. Poorly accessible! Even when we called the office itself, it took a few days for them to call back. If we had an appointment (e.g. at 5 p.m.) she would call the same day to ask to come at 4:30 p.m. Yet she didn't arrive until 5 p.m. and we had to wait on site for more than 30 minutes. (This happened several times) After we made an offer it took a few weeks before we knew anything and after that she just didn't say anything anymore. Not recommended.
