Looking for a property to rent, I went to the Ronse office.
An assistant very kindly told me that the property I wanted was no longer available.
She offered me other alternatives.
I came back a few days later, interested in another apartment.
This time it was an assistant, less friendly, who still offered me a visit.
The visit took place, with this assistant, still very unfriendly, but in short, I was interested.
So I created my file and sent all the information requested.
I rang the first time, after no response, to be sure that my file had been received.
I was assured that yes, and that they would quickly send me a response concerning the acceptance of my file or not by the owner 3 or 4 days later.
And then... Almost 2 weeks later... I'm still waiting...
I certainly could have rang a second time and gotten the answer I expected.
But after having done it once, I think it's a little unprofessional.

Although I’m still searching the apartment, I want to express my thanks to Johan. I received a guideline for renting in Gent from Johan. He did it very carefully and list everything I should know as foreigner. He is very patient and energetic young man. I really hope I can sign contract. After all, thanks Johan again for his help!
