E.g some small reparations would be done within a week of moving in. When we moved out after 4,5 years (and many requests to do the reparations), no action whatsoever was taken. Some things got done after refering to the agencies duties under the Civil Code.
Be very careful during the etat des lieux. They work with the same agency (experts de Boncourt) for all their flats and this puts their independence under pressure. (They are also literally located in the same building). When we questioned the findings (as is allowed under law), there was an absolute refusal to make even the smallest compromise. So best to suggest your own expert (already at the beginning).
