Contacted Jesin from EPMC regarding a warehouse for rent in Beveren Waas. From the start, communication was quite difficult. I always had to call Jesin myself instead of the other way around. And he never answered. Ultimately I was able to reach him by calling the office myself and complaining. Agreed to visit the property. I used to be there and the current tenant was there so I introduced myself. The current tenant informed me that he did not know anything about an appointment at 3 p.m. and said that I was 'lucky' that I was there earlier as he was leaving soon and so we would not find anyone.
Agreements have already been made with the current tenant regarding takeover documents, etc. I would also take over some furniture. After 3 days of pulling and dragging Jesin's sleeve, I finally received the conditions by email. Full of mistakes. Clearly wasn't aware.
After giving my agreement, he would present this to the owner. After 1 week still no response. Of course I call him, again no response. Finally got a hold of it. Then Jesin tells me very kindly: 'I am waiting for feedback from the owner, as soon as I know something I will let you know immediately, but it is best to look for something else'. Reason why? Never got it... Maybe because my last name doesn't sound so Belgian? 😅
Ultimately found another building after my long search through another office. Everything was arranged there in 3 days. Haven't heard of Jesin until now.
I strongly believe that EPMC is not a 'bad' office. I just advise you to monitor your staff more closely.
