My first and last experience with a real estate agent. First and foremost, they wanted to put my house at a set price that was far too low in order to attract many potential buyers. After negotiating, and especially keeping my distance, the set price was increased to what I wanted. Ultimately, I found a buyer for my home who made an offer that was much higher than they had expected. We were satisfied with the offer and the buyer and yet she called another buyer with a lower offer to ask if he wanted to increase his offer, which was not the case. In addition, I had a valid EPC certificate, which they thought would be better to renew since the windows and doors were renewed (cost price was not stated but turned out to be €200+VAT!). Originally I had EPC C, after renewing I suddenly had EPC D. How is this even possible? I was then able to correct and arrange all of this myself with the person who drew up the EPC certificate. They did not intervene in this. Then they also mentioned a 3% commission, never saying anything about extra costs for VAT and/or paperwork. Afterwards, when I received the invoice, it turned out that there were €400 in extra costs (papers), plus that I also had to pay 21% VAT on everything. As a result, the total price was about €2500 higher than first thought. The fact that these costs would be additional should have been mentioned from the start so that there is more transparency.
Definitely not worth repeating with them for me.

Received very professional support in the purchase of our new home. Two ladies who practice their profession with passion and correctness. Thank you Nancy and Lesley!

Extremely pleasant experience with the ladies.
There is more than enough choice in terms of real estate agents, but these two stand head and shoulders above the rest, a real tandem!
They use a human approach, are professional, friendly and clearly know what they are doing. We have always received clear explanations and good guidance throughout the entire process.
From someone with a standard suspicion of “Salespeople” :)

We bought our house from these two great people.
The first bid was not enough so all bidders were given a second chance and this was accepted by the seller. We then signed the compromise.
We think that this entire process went very smoothly and honestly with clear communication.

Missing out on a house due to poor communication and misinformation from the real estate agency to us. After a tour of the house, we were given an offer form without further explanation or information. The next day we sent our bid by email, 2 days later we received a telephone call that our bid and that of another interested couple was too low. We were first called, then we immediately made an increased bid via text message. (However, the bid form states that all bids must be submitted via the form. However, according to her, this could simply be done via text message/email or even verbally.) The next day around 5 pm I let them know that everything had been arranged with the bank. Suddenly I received a phone call 2 hours later that there was a higher offer and that the owner had approved it. The next day we contacted again to inquire about a possible counter offer. We were told that a maximum of 2 bids could be made and that she told us this over the phone was not the case. According to her, it would also be on the offer form, but that is not the case. The seller was also told that we did not want to make any further offers, even though this was NEVER discussed. Very unfortunate situation that is based on ambiguities from the real estate agency. Requested documents such as the building line plan, boundary line and the like were never provided, as promised. Very disappointed and disappointed in the unprofessionalism of the real estate agent we contacted.
