      • - The sale of our house with the Immolight company was a disappointment. What started with a nice sales pitch and nice promises resulted in one disappointment after another. The real estate agent proposes the sales price himself, because he knows the market and sells the house at the price that is certainly given for it, so there are certainly people interested in the house than if you have too high an asking price and you scare people off, it sounds like. My partner and I left our house to Immolight just before we left on holiday. The manager indicates that our holiday period of 3.5 weeks is perfect. This gives them plenty of time to plan home visits since we are not in the country anyway. The photos were taken and the house was online. The house will be sold at that time, it was said. But when we come home after three weeks and a half of vacation, we find that the "for sale" sign was only put up the day before we returned home. The house had not yet been sold. What a disappointment. A mirror is on the floor and the light is still on when we arrive. From then on the misery started. During home visits, we always leave the house and afterwards discover that the doors were left unlocked or the light was left on regularly. There was no or very poor communication. Since there was not much reaction to the house according to the real estate agent, it was decided to reduce the price by tens of thousands of euros. After the house has been for sale for more than two months, there is an offer with suspensive conditions for a period of 1 month. There was no communication during this duration. When, after three weeks, we ask the broker for the status of the situation, he indicates that he does not yet know anything. He will inform us himself on the day when the suspensive conditions expire. The evening, after the terms and conditions have expired, we take matters into our own hands and call the broker himself, where he indicates that he does not know why we are calling. What a disappointment as a seller you want to know whether your house has been sold. The broker indicated that someone from the office would call me, which did not happen. The broker then indicates that they have not received a registered letter from the bank "so it must be fine". The real estate agent did not dare to say whether our house had been sold. Just "no registered letter was received so it must be fine". Adjusting the "for sale" sign by sticking a "sold" sticker on it or removing the sign was also not an option. We then removed the sign ourselves only 3 months after the expiry of the suspensive conditions and sanded the adhesive residue from the window. There has also been no further contact with the broker. We have not received any communication yet. ImmoLIGHT, where LIGHT stands for the smallest package of services on the market. If you are looking for a real estate agent where communication and transparency are paramount and passionate people who are committed to selling your house, I would look for another real estate agent. To end on a positive note, we must admit that the photos of our home were beautifully taken and thus placed on the internet.

      • + As a buyer you would think that a real estate agency would only work for the benefit of the seller, but that was our initial experience during our search for our 'forever home'. But then we met Marta Romero from Immolight for a site visit and she informed us as buyers honestly and kindly about everything that applies specifically to us. We always received correct and direct information from her in a friendly manner. Even now 8 months later I was able to contact her for a certificate regarding our purchased home and, as expected, fast and friendly communication. No regrets at all about our collaboration.
